Dear recruiters in the game and animation industries,
When you send us an art test, please remember:’s never just a task for an artist.
It means hours, sometimes days, of energy, electricity, wear on our tools, emotional investment, and most of all: creativity.
And receiving a cold, automated message after all that effort, with no feedback, no appreciation, and not even a basic thank you, is deeply disheartening.
How do you expect us to trust you, when we're afraid our ideas are being used as bait?
I stand here, like the woman in my illustration, strong, unapologetic, and rooted in the deepest part of my own history.
There was a time when judgment was human.
When art was evaluated with emotion, intention, and care, not algorithms.
Let’s not forget that. Let’s bring back dignity in how we treat creatives.
