The Story Behind "Mochi House

One day I was sitting in a park when I saw a fisherman by the street selling fish. Next to him sat a calm cat, quietly watching him. That small, peaceful moment stayed with me and sparked the idea for this illustration.
In my imagination, that fisherman became someone who deeply loves animals. Every day he goes to the pond to catch fish, not to sell, but to feed the stray cats. He builds a warm, cozy house shaped like a cat, where his feline friends can feel safe and loved.
This little home is called Mochi, a tribute to kindness, love, and my own long-time dream of having a pet. I can't have one right now due to life circumstances, but in my art, I can give them a home.
I wish in the real world we could all be a little kinder to ourselves, to each other, and to animals.
Maybe then the world would be a softer and more beautiful place to live in.
